Our London Corporate team is pleased to have advised Mech.i.Tronic S.p.A on its acquisition of Lambert from AIM-listed Mpac Group plc. The transaction completed in July 2026 following the satisfaction of conditions.
Founded in 1973 and based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, Lambert is a specialist automation business that designs and builds highly customised automation solutions for complex product assembly processes, including web converting, specialist filling and dosing applications and inspection solutions, primarily serving the medical device, healthcare, personal care and consumer goods markets. The business employs approximately 160 people.
The acquisition expands Mech.i.Tronic’s expertise in medical device, healthcare and pharmaceutical automation solutions and marks the latest step in its international growth strategy, which has included several targeted acquisitions and integration of specialist automation solutions in recent years.
