We’ve expanded our Commercial Disputes Resolution team with the addition of two new Partners in Leeds and Manchester.

Now part of our near 80-person office at Wellington Place in Leeds, Richard Wilson is a highly experienced litigator – acting for large corporates, high-net worth individuals and public sector organisations. His specialism in the betting and gaming sector has seen him act for well-known brands on issues ranging from consumer contract matters to disputes with marketing affiliates as well as duty of care claims. He also has significant experience working with major sportswear brands.
Meanwhile, Banking and Finance litigation specialist Ritchie Irvine joins the firm in the North West. Ritchie joins our Manchester office ahead of the first anniversary of our relocation to the city’s flagship St Michael’s development. His areas of focus include asset-based lending, operational risk management, fraud prevention, security enforcement and asset recovery. He is also recognised for advising on the mis-selling of consumer finance products. Having practised for over three decades, he has worked for a number of major lenders and financial services clients.
The appointments mark the firm’s 10th and 11th senior lateral hires since the start of 2026, with the Hill Dickinson Partnership having now expanded to more than 180 colleagues through recruitment and internal promotions. The firm has secured further significant growth in our Business Services group over the last 12 months while investing in our presence across the UK and international markets.
The continued success of our Business Services Group reflects both the strength of our offering nationally and the scale of our ambition. Our lateral hire programme has been a key driver of this growth, with a series of high-quality senior appointments adding strength and depth across the firm. We are increasingly attracting outstanding individuals who recognise the strength of our platform and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our equity structure. We look forward to Richard and Ritchie being joined by further additions to our Partnership in the coming months.Fiona Parry
