Clare Kamsika

Clare is a Senior Associate in our Employment & Education team. She advises on all areas of employment law including unfair dismissal, conduct, grievances, TUPE, issues arising under the Equality Act 2010 and whistleblowing.

Details

Clare qualified with the firm in 2011. She later gained broad experience of complex and frontline legal issues as part of the in-house legal team for Royal Mail Group.

Clare took a break from the profession after welcoming twins and is a proud returner to law and to Hill Dickinson.  She relishes getting to know the inner workings of the organisations she works with. Clare prides herself on her approachability and provision of pragmatic, client-focussed advice.

Clare undertakes all aspects of advisory and contentious employment law advice from straightforward conduct and contractual issues to complex grievances and whistleblowing. She also supports clients with strategic advice including restructures and TUPE.

Clare has specific expertise in education employment, advising schools and Multi Academy Trusts on the full spectrum of employment law issues.

Her particular interests lie in investigations, equality law and data protection.

Clare gained a 2:1 Law with French degree from the University of Sheffield in 2008. During her degree programme, she studied international law and human rights for a year at the Université de Genève in Switzerland and was proud to achieve the Certificat de Droit Transnational.

Clare went on to gain a distinction in her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Manchester in 2010.
