James joined the firm as a partner in the employment team in February 2020. James advises clients on all aspects of employment law.

James has vast experience of defending clients in complex employment tribunal cases; regularly guides clients through difficult disciplinary and grievance issues; advises clients on all aspects of organisational change; drafts the full range of employment documentation including contracts, handbooks, policies, etc and has significant experience of defending clients in injunction proceedings.

James had advised clients in a variety of sectors, but spends the majority of his time advising clients in the healthcare sector. James has a particular specialism advising NHS trusts in relation to medical staff.
