Lance is an associate based in Singapore. He has advised and acted for clients in dry and wet shipping disputes, including in Singapore and London arbitrations. He previously spent time in two IGP&I Clubs and is familiar with claims handling.

Prior to joining the firm, Lance practised in an established Singapore law firm specialising in shipping matters. Lance has also accumulated time with two IGP&I Clubs, one stint being an internship in the Singapore and Norway offices of one Club, and another being a secondment in another Club’s Singapore office.

Lance has experience advising and acting for clients in dry and wet shipping disputes, including disputes involving charterparties, bills of lading, commodity/bunker sale and purchases, shipbuilding and marine casualties. This includes arbitrations seated in Singapore and London.

Lance graduated from the Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (First Class Honours). Lance also achieved a distinction grade in the shipping module Carriage of Goods by Sea taught by Professor Paul Myburgh.
