Working within both the public sector and commercial employment teams, Lyndsey handles both contentious and non-contentious matters, acting primarily for employers. Lyndsey has experience of a wealth of matters encompassing all aspects of employment law. She has managed lengthy and complex multi-million pound discrimination claims in the Employment Tribunal and has recently secured the withdrawal of a high value breach of contract claim and recovered her client’s costs within the County Court system. She has conducted cases through appeal both to the Employment Appeal Tribunal and to the Court of Appeal.

Lyndsey also has considerable experience in advising employers who are defending complex claims including breach of contract, TUPE, redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. In addition to tribunal and court work, Lyndsey also advises employers and boards in relation to the disciplining and dismissal of doctors and senior executives. She is experienced in advising, managing and executing bespoke termination and settlement deals designed to best meet the commercial interests of her clients, and advises employers and liaises with staff side/trades unions in collective consultation processes for redundancy and contractual variation. Lyndsey also advises on each party’s obligations in terms of TUPE transfers.
