Mirella Papadima

Prior to joining the firm, Mirella worked for two years in the transactional department of a prominent Greek law firm where she drafted and negotiated a wide variety of contracts relating to the sale and purchase and the financing of vessels. Mirella has also worked for an international law firm in Piraeus specialised in ship finance as well as in the yachting department of a Greek law firm for 4 years

Mirella advises clients on all matters relating to the sale and purchase of vessels, yachts, financing the acquisition of new building and/or second handed vessels, refinancing arrangements, registration of vessels under the Greek and/or foreign registries, corporate matters relating to Greek shipping and foreign companies. Her field of expertise also includes the establishment of ship management companies and foreign companies’ branch offices in Greece.

Mirella completed her law degree (LLB) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a master’s degree (LLM) in International Shipping Law from Queen Mary University of London.
