Olivia Howarth

Olivia joined the firm in August 2023 and is a paralegal in the Healthcare and Public Law team. Olivia is also on part time secondment to The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. 

Olivia assists with both Court of Protection and inquest cases at Hill Dickinson, including deprivation of liberty challenges, welfare proceedings, best interests’ decisions, medical treatment cases and coroner’s inquests. Olivia regularly assists colleagues in the team with hearing preparation, attending court with counsel, drafting key documentation, reviewing evidence, and filing applications to the court.

Whilst working on secondment at The Northern Care Alliance, Olivia assist’s with managing the inquest profile at the Trust, whilst supporting witnesses, reviewing witness evidence and medical records, and representing the Trust at inquest. 

Olivia studied at the University of Liverpool where she completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Laws degree, achieving a 2:1 (Hons), graduating in 2022.
