Sam O'Doherty

 Sam has a particular interest in MENA strategy and international investment, looking at startups, cross-industry actors and the relationship between tech and real assets.

Sam works on transactions that involve commercial property assets used for various investment and development purposes. Sam has worked internationally (with a number of years practising in the Middle East) and has experience offering support for energy and infrastructure transactions, and dealing with niche, cross-border matters. 

Sam handles commercial real estate acquisitions and disposals, leasing and general management concerns, site composition and development matters, and has experience of onshore and offshore infrastructure projects. In addition to core property work Sam has experience dealing with broader commercial contracts in relation to projects (particularly in energy generation and storage), and maintains an interest in startups, disruptive tech and the increased use of cryptocurrencies. 

Sam completed his undergraduate degree in Paris before working in media in France and the Netherlands, and then converted to law in London. Before settling at Hill Dickinson Sam qualified and worked in Midtown, worked in the Middle East for a number of years and then at a top-ten City firm.
