Tony represents a number of NHS trusts and health authorities with a varied and complex caseload. Tony is a highly experienced and very able litigator, bringing a sensitive and pragmatic approach to often highly emotional cases. Tony regularly lectures to clients on current relevant healthcare topics.

Tony defends healthcare litigation claims with substantial experience of high value clinical negligence claims. His caseload includes birth injury cases, acquired brain injury cases and cases involving paraplegia/neurological compromise, valued up to £8 million. Many of Tony’s cases are factually complex or involve multiple defendants with complicated causation arguments, such as claims for workplace accidents where there is also a claim against the hospital for negligent treatment or where there are also claims against the GP.

Tony graduated from the University of Birmingham with LLB.
