Hill Dickinson advises Legacie Development on £200m Liverpool plans

Legacie Developments has outlined plans for a £200 million regeneration scheme on the edge of Liverpool city centre, which would help create more than 250 jobs.

The Liverpool based developer, which acquired The Gateway site on Leeds Street earlier this year, has revealed proposals to create 656 luxury residential apartments in the city’s Northern Quarter, adjacent to the central business district.

Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson led on the provision of legal advice to Legacie, led by the firm’s head of real estate, Alex McCann, supported by senior associate Jon Pearson-Basudev and associate Jonathan Lynch.

Commenting on the deal, Alex McCann said:

Plans for The Gateway include creation of a garden spa complete with an infrared sauna, swimming pool, ice bath, oxygen chamber and experience showers, as well as two gyms, a cinema room, landscaped gardens, coffee shop and convenience store, and other commercial amenities.

The project is similar in scale to Legacie’s Parliament Square development, which is located on the edge of the Baltic Triangle.
