We’re pleased to have further bolstered our Business Services Group in the Asia-Pacific region with the appointment of a team of regulatory and corporate specialists from Hong Kong-based TN Partners.
Martyn Huckerby joins our now 40-strong Hong Kong office as Head of Competition Law and Regulatory, alongside Counsel Felix Chan and Matthew Lo whose arrivals enhance the firm’s corporate and solvent restructuring experience in the region.
A further two fee earning colleagues will also join alongside them.
Martyn’s practice focuses on corporate, regulatory and competition/antitrust matters, with particular expertise in multijurisdictional merger control, regulatory investigations, dawn raid response and compliance issues. He has also advised extensively on the formation, growth and reorganisation of businesses, including joint ventures, across China and the wider Asia region.
Meanwhile, Felix Chan and Matthew Lo both advise a wide range of private and public listed companies on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and international business reorganisations, as well as other general commercial and contractual matters.
The latest recruits follow the arrival of Hong Kong-based technology, media and telecoms specialist Paul Haswell in February as we continue to invest in our fast-growing Business Services Group, which was a key factor in the firm growing revenues by 18% in its latest financial results. The firm’s overall partnership has now grown to over 180 colleagues, with more than 25 senior lateral hires completed over the last 18 months.
