Criminal proceedings

Content

We are regularly instructed on a private fee paying basis to defend individuals charged with criminal offences in both the Magistrates Court and the Crown Court.

Our experience covers the full range of criminal work, from minor matters heard in the Magistrates Court, to serious cases heard in the Crown Court.

How we can advise you

Being investigated or charged with a criminal offence can be a difficult and challenging time. Our team is available to provide assistance and support throughout the entire process.

We are able to offer advice from the very early stage of police investigation and formal interview (otherwise known as a PACE interview or interview under caution) through to representation before the courts.

We have experience across the full range of criminal offences, from driving matters including accumulation of penalty points (‘totting up’), excess alcohol and careless/dangerous driving, through to the more serious criminal offences, including sexual offences and fraud.

Many of our clients are high profile individuals and organisations. Throughout our handling of these very sensitive matters, we maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion, while the composition and experience of our team allows us to provide unrivalled legal advice. A number of the team have an extensive background in criminal law and considerable experience in advising both individuals and corporate clients in the most serious of cases.
