Hill Dickinson’s Private Equity team advises Inflexion-backed Celnor Group on Uni-Safe Access acquisition

International law firm Hill Dickinson has advised Celnor Group, a provider of critical data for compliance, safety, and sustainability purposes, on the acquisition of Uni-Safe Access, which has become part of Celnor Group’s safety and compliance division.

Celnor Group is backed by private equity house Inflexion, whose industry-leading expertise in consolidating the TICC (testing, inspection, certification, and compliance) market aims to build the business with an ambitious acquisition strategy.

Warwickshire-based Uni-Safe Access provides inspection, testing and maintenance of high-level access systems including man-safe systems, safety eyebolts, travelling and fixed gantries and edge protection services. The business will continue to be led by directors Tim Goodbody and Wayne Sweatman.

Simon Parrington, chief executive officer of Celnor Group said: “Uni-Safe Access is a great addition to our Group, offering complementary services to several of our other businesses. I was immediately impressed when I met Tim and Wayne and could see that they and the team would fit in well at Celnor. Uni-Safe have worked, and continue to work, on some prestigious and important buildings ensuring that vital safety standards are maintained. We look forward to being a part in this important work”.

David Mkhitarian and Graeme Anderson of Hill Dickinson’s Private Equity team led on the provision of legal advice to Celnor Group, with assistance from paralegal Paula Mas Alvarez.

Graeme Anderson said: “We are delighted to have supported Celnor Group, Simon Parrington and the wider Celnor team on bringing Uni-Safe Access into the Group. Each successive acquisition adds to the Group’s remarkable growth journey to date and complements Celnor Group’s increasingly strong presence in the market. We wish all parties every success on the new partnership.”
